"Wolfie in the Birds' House" - colored pencils on paper
Wolfie was sitting for days in front of the window looking at the birdies coming to the birds’ feeder on the balcony. There came a lot of birds, such as blue tits, great tits, green finches, nuthatches and even blackbirds. Wolfie couldn’t reach them, though. The distance from her place until the birds’ feeder was long enough, and by the time she would get there, all the birdies would have flown away.

So she came up with a really cunning plan: to hide in the birds’ house and stay still. When the birdies will come, as usual, to eat, she would just have to snatch them with the paw and feast on them.

After the knee surgery, the Bunny could walk only with walking sticks for a long time. In order to exercise, the Bunny went out and took little rounds in the woods. There she made and met new friends, like the little nuthatch.

In the hot days of summer, the muskrats retreat on the shore of their little pond, lay on beach chairs, drink cold cocktails and protect themselves from the sun by wearing little sombreros.

What a better way for a Weasel to star the new year in his blog, if not with some thoughts about happiness?
To all of you, a wonderful Christmas, Happy Holidays and an amazing New Year!
To those celebrating it, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
For those curious about how is the life of the Weasel, as in what a weasel is doing the whole day, what passions and what hobbies fill in the existence of the weasel, here it is a little insight. Maybe some already guessed, judging from the many photographs of flowers and plants the weasel is posting. Yes, one of the Weasel’s hobbies is gardening. Now, since the Weasel does not have a real garden, but a balcony, he expresses his gardening qualities and passion by planting and taking care of little plants on the balcony. It’s a good temporary replacement and could be considered even as a training ground for the gardening skills until the Weasel’s dream of a real garden comes true.
