One of the visitors of our little birds-house: the nuthatch. He doesn’t come so often like, for example, the blue tits, but he is one of our regular customers. The gray-blue tones on his back fits amazingly to the red-pinkish on his chest and belly. When they are on the trees’ trunks they are almost invisible, camouflaged by the color-tones on their backs. In his trips, the Weasel saw some who, probably, were looking for insects in the trunks of the tree by knocking with the beaks in the trunk, probably to break it into the insects’ nests.
