Weesenstein, Germany, June 2011
I talked in my previous post about the castle at Weesenstein, but I didn’t mention the wonderful Baroque garden. Imagine this: the castle built on the top of a small cliff, while on the valley behind it, nested between the main road and other hills, lays the garden. It’s a small, but beautiful garden, along a small creek. And, of course, in summer, when all the flowers are in bloom, one can see all its beauty. One needs only a bit of rain to add the droplets on the delicate petals, like little diamonds on velvet.
