Anatomy Of A Snowflake

December 2010, Moritzburg, Germany

I was very surprised (I have to confess) to see that snowflakes look in reality very close to the usual image of snowflakes we use for decorating. The human heart, for example, looks in reality different of the shape we use to decorate with almost everything.

As I know some will ask, it is macro, indeed, made with my bridge camera, which leads me to the entry I intend to make, sometime in the future, about equipment and some other phtography ramble. Untile then, enjoy this photo.
